Introducing BIG NOTER, an all-new project from Aboriginal Australian icon BRIGGS, a proud Yorta-Yorta/Wurundjeri/Wemba-Wemba man from country Victoria. Now trading hip-hop beats for guitar riffs, BIG NOTER is a sonic return to the heavy sounds he grew up on, tapping into his hardcore, punk and metal roots, with a full live band in tow.
 The first taste comes via IDENTITY, the formal introduction to the world for BIG NOTER. Working with acclaimed engineer Nick Didia (Rage Against The Machine, Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen), there was never any intention of messing around and making a small splash here.
 From the get-go on the debut single the listener can feel the change of gears, as the nostalgic guitar kicks in, the accompaniment of BRIGGS’ vocals at their most aggressive to date prick the listener’s ears up with his modern yet classic take on hardcore/punk energy. IDENTITY asks the question; who are you when nobody’s watching? The fiery passion is undeniable and as is the heart behind the track, it’s no secret that Briggs is still a champion of Australian music with an unwavering connection to his people. With their debut album well under way, as well as debut shows supporting Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inducted artist, Tom Morello on his April 2025 Australian tour, BIG NOTER are set to make waves and land with a major impact in the Australian music scene.
